| The Search is on for the University Service Award and the Archbishop Mongeau Award for Religious Excellence.
The University Service Award is given to a graduating student of Notre Dame University who has distinguished himself/herself consistently in active and outstanding university service.
The criteria include: 1. outstanding leadership for service in accord with the vision-mission of the University and the Oblate Charism; 2. Quality and impact of service to the university community and the community it serves; 3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills; and 4. Personal growth and development.
Deadline for the submission of application forms and other required documents is on March 4, 2010. The evaluation by the panel of judges (including interview with the applicants) is on March 10. Announcement of Awardee is on March 12.
The Archbishop Mongeau Award for Religious Excellence is given to a graduating Catholic student who has consistently excelled in Religious Studies and has actively been involved in religious activities and rendered exemplary services.
The nominee must be a graduating student from his/her first course (4-5 years course) as certified by the dean; must be a catholic; must have at least 3-year residency at NDU as certified by the Registrar; must have a General Weighted Average of at least 2.50 on all subjects taken in the last two years at NDU; must have no grades below 85 or 2.00 in RS; must have no disciplinary case during the whole duration of his/her stay at NDU, as certified by OSAS; and must be of good moral character
Deadline for the submission of application, supporting evidences of accomplishment and dean's recommendation is on March 4, 2010. Submission of the evaluation ratings of the applicants by the Honors and Awards Committee to the VPAA is on March 11, 2010. Announcement of awardee is on March 12. |
