| Notre Dame University-Knowledge for Development Center and the National Book Development Board will hold a seminar-training workshop on Booklatan sa Cotabato - Readership Enhancement and Advancement Program (READ) , the Art of Story telling and the Copyright and Intellectual Property Issues, to be held at the College of Engineering Media Center, Engineering Complex, on March 1 to 3, 2010.
In this three days training the speakers will present: The READ program: Making a Nation of Readers, Reading Strategies; How do we develop Students who will read; Train participants on the art of storytelling and the Copyright and Intellectual Property issues.
Featured speakers are: Mr. Glenn L. Malimban, of NBDB, Dr. Elena Cutiongco, Mr. Tony Yanza and Atty. Louie Calvario.
The objective of the training is to enable the participants to learn and teach students with learning and reading difficulty to improve their reading skills and comprehension, to point where they can succeed in school and develop the reading skills that will prepare them for their academic preparations. |
